Your Career Mountaineers: Mentors, Allies, and Sponsors

How are you going to reach the top of the mountain? Employ your own career mountaineers. Mentors provide sage advice and serve as role models. Allies are the peers who are sounding boards, cheerleaders, and confidants along one’s professional journey. Sponsors are proactive champions who use their clout and reputations to help executives get to the next level.

Join us July 30 from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. in the Baylor University Sammons Cancer Center for “Your Career Mountaineers: Mentors, Allies, and Sponsors,” an engaging in-person session exploring the essential relationships that help leaders like you grow and advance throughout their careers. Learn how mentors, allies, and sponsors each play distinct roles in supporting professional success—and how to cultivate these connections at every career stage.

Presenters include WittKieffer Senior Partner Raj Ramachandran and Senior Associate Stephanie Ikediobi. Through practical advice, real-world stories, and audience Q&A, they’ll share actionable strategies for building a strong network of advocates while also becoming a champion for others.
