Terms of Service

Last Updated:

Welcome to the website of the Dallas-Fort Worth Chapter of the National Association of Health Services Executives ("NAHSE DFW," the "Chapter," "we," "us," or "our"). These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of nahsedfw.org (the "Site"), including our events calendar, job board, news, photo galleries, newsletter, and contact forms.

By accessing or using the Site, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.

About the Chapter

NAHSE DFW is a local chapter of the National Association of Health Services Executives ("NAHSE National"). The Site shares information about Chapter leadership, events, programs, news, career opportunities, sponsorships, and affiliates in the Dallas-Fort Worth area.

You may use the Site for lawful, personal, and professional purposes. You agree not to:

  • Use the Site in any way that violates any law or regulation
  • Submit false, misleading, or someone else's information through our forms
  • Send spam, unsolicited advertising, or bulk messages through our forms
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Site, its servers, or any connected systems
  • Upload or transmit viruses, malware, or other harmful code
  • Scrape, harvest, or collect information about Chapter leaders, members, or visitors (including email addresses) for marketing or any unauthorized purpose
  • Interfere with the Site's operation, security, or performance
  • Impersonate NAHSE DFW, NAHSE National, a Chapter leader, or any other person or organization

We may restrict or block access to the Site for anyone who violates these Terms.

Membership

Membership in NAHSE is offered by NAHSE National. When you click "Become a Member," you leave this Site and go to NAHSE National's membership system. Membership eligibility, dues, benefits, renewals, cancellations, and refunds are governed by NAHSE National's bylaws, policies, and terms, not these Terms. Questions about dues or membership status should be directed to NAHSE National.

Events

The Site lists Chapter events, including networking events, educational programs, community service activities, webinars, galas, and conferences.

  • Registration: Some events require registration through a form on our Site, a third-party platform (such as Eventbrite), or NAHSE National. Registration through a third-party platform is also subject to that platform's terms.
  • Tickets, cancellations, and refunds: Ticket prices, refund rules, and transfer options are listed on each event page or registration form. Unless an event page states otherwise, ticket purchases and sponsorship payments are non-refundable.
  • Changes: Dates, times, locations, speakers, and agendas may change. We may postpone, move online, or cancel an event when necessary. If we cancel a paid event, we will share refund or credit options with registered attendees.
  • Conduct: Attendees are expected to behave professionally and respectfully. We may remove anyone whose conduct is disruptive, unsafe, or harassing, without a refund.
  • Photography and recording: Events may be photographed or recorded. By attending, you agree that the Chapter may use photos and video in which you appear on the Site, social media, newsletters, and promotional materials. To request removal of an image, please contact us.
  • Virtual events: Join links are for registered attendees only and may not be shared. Virtual events may use third-party platforms such as Zoom or Microsoft Teams, which have their own terms.
  • Calendar downloads: "Add to calendar" files are provided for convenience. Please check the event page for the latest details.

Job Board

Job listings are provided by employers and posted as a service to our community. NAHSE DFW is not the employer, recruiter, or agent for any listed position.

  • We do not verify, guarantee, or endorse any employer, job, salary, or listing detail.
  • Applications are submitted directly to the employer through the employer's website or instructions. We do not receive, review, or forward applications.
  • Employers are responsible for the accuracy and legality of their listings, including compliance with equal employment opportunity laws.
  • We may edit, decline, or remove any listing at any time, and listings may close or expire without notice.

Use your own judgment when applying for any position, and never send sensitive personal or financial information to an employer you have not verified.

Sponsorships, Partners, and Affiliates

Sponsorship levels, benefits, and pricing shown on the Site are for information and may change. A sponsorship is confirmed only by a written agreement or invoice from the Chapter, and those documents control if they differ from the Site. Listing a sponsor, partner, or affiliate on the Site does not mean the Chapter endorses that organization's products, services, or views.

Donations

Donations to the NAHSE Endowment Fund and other national programs are processed by NAHSE National and are governed by NAHSE National's policies. Please consult NAHSE National and your tax advisor regarding the tax treatment of any donation.

Newsletter and Communications

If you sign up for our newsletter or chapter updates, you agree to receive emails from NAHSE DFW about Chapter news, events, and opportunities. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email.

Information You Submit

When you send us information through the Site, such as a contact form message, newsletter sign-up, event registration, or job listing request, you confirm that the information is accurate and that you have the right to share it. Do not submit confidential, health, or other sensitive information through the Site. Any feedback or suggestions you send us may be used by the Chapter without any obligation to you.

Intellectual Property

The Site and its content, including text, graphics, photos, video, logos, page designs, and code, are owned by or licensed to NAHSE DFW, NAHSE National, or our content providers and are protected by copyright and trademark laws. The NAHSE name and logos are trademarks of NAHSE National and may not be used without written permission.

You may view, download, and share pages from the Site for personal, non-commercial use, including sharing links to our news stories and events, as long as you do not change the content and you keep any copyright notices. Any other use requires our written permission.

Photos of Chapter leaders, members, and event attendees may not be copied, edited, or reused for commercial purposes.

No Professional Advice

It is not medical, legal, financial, or employment advice. Opinions expressed by speakers, authors, or Chapter leaders are their own and do not necessarily reflect the views of NAHSE DFW or NAHSE National.

We work to keep the Site accurate and up to date, but event details, job listings, leadership information, sponsorship details, and other content may change or contain errors. We may correct, update, or remove content at any time without notice.
