PRESIDENT ELECT
David serves as a Regional Vice President of Network Solutions for Risk Adjustment and HEDIS/STARS Performance where he has oversight responsibility for over $34M in direct revenue. He is accountable for 21 states in the West-Central Region providing prospective population health solutions for multiple Medicare, Medicaid and Affordable Care Act health plan clients. David has over 27 years of experience in Managed Care working for UnitedHealth Group. He has worked with OPTUM (a wholly owned subsidiary) for the past 14 years. His previous leadership roles with the organization include Network Development, Provider Relations, Physician, Ancillary and Hospital Contracting.
Prior to his time with United Health Group, David worked for Fidelity Investments as a New Accounts Consultant/Representative in Las Colinas, Texas and Covington, Kentucky.
David earned his bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Northwood University, and a Master of Business Administration from Texas Women’s University.
David’s goal for the chapter is to support the vision by ensuring NAHSE is the premier professional membership society for Blacks in healthcare management. David’s ultimate vision is to have the chapter recognized as exemplary and serve as a model across the nation. He is committed to promoting mentorship, community service, professional development programs, membership growth /engagement, and building a continuous pipeline of strategic partnerships with sponsors to support the mission of the chapter.
Treasurer
Kevin serves as Special Projects Manager at Metrocare Services. He is passionate about and involved in several areas of focus to include: enterprise strategy, community outreach and development, cultural competency and sensitivity, health education, and mental health.
Prior to his time at Metrocare Services, Kevin worked as a Project Manager and Process Improvement Specialist at DFW Hospital Council Education and Research Foundation.
A highly decorated Non-Commissioned Officer, Kevin served honorably in both the United States Army and Air Force, leading and supporting teams in several war campaigns. He has been awarded numerous medals to include: Air Force Commendation, National Service Defense, and Armed Forces Expeditionary medals.
With over 24 years of public-facing communications, strategy and operational governance, Kevin is committed to providing transparent leadership and support across the healthcare continuum.
Kevin earned his Baccalaureate of Science in Psychology from University of Phoenix and an Associate of Applied Science in Criminal Justice from the Community College of the Air Force.
Parliamentarian
Krishelle Watts serves as the Regulatory Compliance Manager at CHRISTUS Health Plan. She manages and oversees the Medicare Advantage and Prescription Drug (MA-PD) contract to ensure full compliance with all regulatory guidelines mandated by the Center for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS).
Through her prior experience with both Quality Improvement and Regulatory Compliance, she has developed skills to improve CHRISTUS Health Plan’s internal auditing and monitoring program, risk assessments, and corrective action plans.
Krishelle is dedicated to continuous improvement and empowering others. She has volunteered with the DFW NAHSE Chapter in the past and wishes to continue to be an advocate for the success of the organization and its impact on the community.
She holds a MHA from the University of North Texas Health Science Center in Fort Worth, Texas as well as, a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from the University of Oklahoma. She is currently preparing to complete her Certification in Healthcare Compliance (CHC) through the Health Care Compliance Association (HCCA).
SECRETARY
Olayide Adejumobi (Olay) is a Research Associate at the Parkland Center for Clinical Innovation, PCCI. She collaborates with Funders, Government Agencies, Rural and Urban Health Systems, Payers, Local Governments, and Community Organizations and others who find the most impactful ways to address the needs of vulnerable populations in Dallas Community and beyond. Prior to joining PCCI, Olay was a registered dietitian who helped patients live healthier lives. She believes that everyone can change their dietary lifestyles and feel healthier as a result.
Having provided clinical nutrition support in hospitals in the DFW area and internationally in Nigeria, she has extensive experience in clinical nutrition support and public health.
Olay holds a bachelor’s degree in Human Nutrition and received her dietetic education at Texas Tech University. Recently she graduated from Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center with her master’s in healthcare administration.
Student Relations Committee Chair
Joyce Tapley serves as CEO of The Martin Luther King,Jr. Family Clinic – also known as Foremost Family Health Centers (FFHC). With a career spanning three decades, Ms.Tapley’s intrinsic understanding of fiscal, effectual healthcare delivery resulted from the coalescence of her previous posts. Along her career path, Joyce has served as an assistant hospital administrator, financial operations director, chief operations officer- and now chief executive officer.
Tapley’s breadth of experience has positioned her well to deliver what business leaders throughout the nation agree is the distinguished, adept leadership of Foremost Family Health Centers. Coupled with her administrative acumen, Ms. Tapley imbues FFHC with compassion and empathy. Having lost her grandmother to breast cancer, eight-year-old Joyce mournfully, but resolutely, informed her mother she would become a physician so that she might prevent others from succumbing to cancer.

A former NAHSE DFW President, Cheryl Prelow offers more than 25 years of extraordinary success in a series of high level roles at the top a number of tier companies that include: Prism Health North Texas; Dallas County Medical Society; Texas Health Resources; Health Midwest Medical Group; Samuel U. Rodgers Community Health Center; Detroit Medical Center; and Truman Medical Center.
Upon being named as Chief Operating Officer for Prism Health North Texas, Cheryl fulfilled a critical executive leadership role that provides care to individuals living with HIV/AIDS in North Texas. Cheryl directed all facets of operations including business development, work plan development, and the oversight of project teams engaged in initiatives across multiple business areas within the organization. Prior to assuming her role at Prism Health North Texas, Cheryl achieved many years of experience driving positive outcomes across Operations Leadership, Cost Containment, Project Management, Risk Management, Public Relations, and Strategic Planning.
Cheryl has dedicated herself and her vision as a transformational and servant leader who engages in projects with an “All-In” attitude. Cheryl’s invaluable expertise and broad business range have powered a history of developing successful process redesigns and improvements that drive productivity, reliability, and client satisfaction. Cheryl consistently demonstrates an impressive command of the skills to manage ongoing business planning processes while developing strategies to meet future challenges. Her proven business instinct and unprecedented disciplinary work ethic continuously exceeds expectations in high stake environments, positioning herself as a key member and a driving force for growth.
Currently, Cheryl provides strategic and operational consulting services for local nonprofits that address the determinants of health by focusing on social justice and race equity issues.She is a doctoral candidate in Public Health and holds a Master of Healthcare Administration from University of Missouri-Columbia as well as a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Biology from University of Missouri-Columbia.
Student Relations Committee Chair
Camerin Weaver serves as a Senior Clinical Recruiter at Included Health. She oversees full-cycle recruitment for clinical positions including mental health clinicians, psychotherapist, psychologist, and psychiatrist. Camerin collaborates with stakeholders, clients, and hiring managers to identify and attract top-tier healthcare professionals.
With over 15 years experience in Human Resources developing innovative recruitment strategies, and streamlined processes, Camerin has been instrumental in utilizing cutting-edge technologies to attract high quality healthcare talent that align with the company needs and goals.
Prior to her time at Included Health. Camerin worked at Hollywood Presbyterian Medical Center’s Human Resources Department as a Lead Clinical Recruiter where she successfully hired c-suite executives, physicians, nurses, and allied health professionals. While in this role she led a high performing recruiting team in which she developed and executed the first new graduate program resulting in over 100 new Registered Nurse hires.

She is dedicated to delivering exceptional results that promote quality patient care and healthcare innovation. Camerin enjoys building valuable relationships, and securing strategic sponsorships to drive business growth and change the healthcare landscape.
Camerin earned her Master’s of Science in Healthcare Management as well as a Baccalaureate of Arts in Sociology with an emphasis in Law and Society from California State University, Los Angeles.
Camerin has an appreciation for nature and learning new cultures. In her spare time, she finds joy in gardening, cooking and traveling.

Denise serves as Vice President of Human Resources and Compliance for Qsource, a healthcare Quality Improvement organization. She has over 18 years of professional HR leadership experience in the healthcare, educational services, technology, and consumer product sectors. Denise’s healthcare experience includes memory care, senior living, hospital, and behavioral health environments. Her strengths include compliance, employee relations, performance, leadership development, talent acquisition, SOP development, and an innovative approach to leveraging technology to improve efficiencies and effectiveness.
As a member, she found NASHE to be impactful and inspirational on her own career path. As Marketing and Communications Chair, she feels she can pay it forward by helping others find inspiration and support on their leadership journey. This aligns with Denise’s personal mission statement to compassionately deliver excellence in people services by helping others meet challenges, overcome obstacles, and grow to become the best version of themselves. She was chosen by NBCUniversal’s MSNBC Know Your Value initiative to participate in the Human Performance Institute – Corporate Athlete Training, which teaches participants to maximize energy and improve well-being to fuel higher performance and inspire purposeful living.
She is a member of the Society of Human Resources Management (SHRM) and the American College of Healthcare Executives (ACHE). She is DEI certified by the Human Resources Certification Institute (HRCI), a graduate of Florida State University’s Jim Moran Institute for Global Entrepreneurship, and a SCORE Certified Small Business Mentor. She obtained her Bachelor of Science from Sam Houston State University and her Masters of Business Administration from Purdue University, where she graduated summa cum laude.

As Senior Vice President, Population Health Management at P3 Health Partners (P3), Timothy Wilson leads the continuous improvement efforts to help providers deliver the correct care our patients deserve, while maintaining affordability and driving down administrative costs. He believes that early intervention is key to delivering quality care to every patient, no matter the age.
Timothy, a 16-year health care veteran, has a proven record of analyzing and solving quality problems and strategically improving processes, including claims operations; systems configuration; provider services; vendor delegations; medical claims reviews; and audit and recovery.
He holds a bachelor’s degree in Public Relations and Image Management and a master’s degree in Mass Communication and Media Studies, both from the University of Texas at Arlington. Timothy is a Board Member of American College of Healthcare Executives (ACHE) of North Texas, proud member of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc, and sits on the P3 Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Committee. While with UnitedHealth Group, he earned a Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification and he received the Strengthening the Pipeline advance certification from the Executive Leadership Council.
In his spare time, Timothy enjoys spending time with his family and friends, as well as reading and exploring new cuisines.

Andre Storey, FACHE is the VP & Chief Operating Officer for Memorial Hermann Cypress Hospital. He provides Administrative leadership for all campus operations which include Perioperative Services, Plant Operations, Strategic Planning, and Ancillary Services.
Prior to his time at Memorial Hermann, Andre served as Director of Hospital Operations at Baylor Scott & White Health at their flagship, Level I Trauma hospital, Baylor University Medical Center in Dallas, Texas. While in this role he was responsible for leading support services, facility compliance and driving the campus strategy.
Andre began his career at CHRISTUS Health in which he held serval leadership positions, including Regional Vice President for Ancillary Services where he was named Executive Champion for regional LEAN operational efficiency program.
Andre served as the immediate President of the DFW Chapter of National Association of Health Services Executives and is also a Fellow in the American College of Healthcare Executives (FACHE).
Andre earned Master’s degree in Health Care Administration from Trinity University and a Bachelors of Business Administration degree from Oklahoma State University (OSU), where he received OSU’s Diversity Hall of Fame Rising Star Award.

Keith Plowden currently serves as the Vice President Of Finance for HCA New Orleans. In his current role, Keith is responsible for monthly reporting in regard to several initiatives within his organization. Keith began his career as a Decision Support Analyst with CHRISTUS Health and then moved onto serve in several roles within CHRISTUS, including: Managed Care Contract Analysis, Budgeting & Forecasting Analyst, and Financial Analyst before moving into his current role.
Keith served as a past President of the DFW Chapter of the National Association of Healthcare Service Association (NAHSE), and is also a Board Certified Fellow of the Healthcare Financial Management Association (HFMA).
A member of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Keith is originally from Louisiana and is a proud member of the Who Data Nation (New Orleans Saints). Keith received his Bachelor’s degree from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette and a member of the. Keith holds a Master’s in Business Administration from Louisiana Tech University in Ruston, LA. and a Master’s of Science in Healthcare Administration from Trinity University in San Antonio, TX
