About the role
The Clinical Data Abstractor is responsible for the abstraction, analysis, investigation, reporting and follow-up of quality indicators and measures from internal and external initiatives to improve patient care, processes of care and outcomes at Methodist Southwest Medical Center.
Remote, part-time position.
What you'll do
- Abstract and analyze quality indicator and measure data
- Investigate, report and follow up on quality findings
- Support internal and external quality initiatives to improve patient outcomes
- Communicate clearly and build collaborative relationships
What you bring
- Associate or bachelor's degree with science emphasis, or commensurate healthcare experience
- CPHQ or other quality certification preferred
- Texas RN or LVN license preferred
- 3-5 years of clinical or healthcare professional experience
