About the role
Vituity is seeking a Controller to lead accounting and payroll, maintain effective internal controls, and ensure accurate, timely GAAP and cash-basis financial reporting for its medical groups. The role presents financial information to the CFO, Audit Committee, Board of Directors and C-suite.
Remote, nationwide. Eligible for the annual corporate Success Sharing bonus program.
What you'll do
- Implement and maintain internal controls and processes to improve close and reporting cycles
- Generate GAAP basis entity financial statements and convert to cash basis for income distributions and tax
- Present financial information to the CFO, Audit Committee, Board and C-suite
- Review corporate and partnership tax returns and develop tax strategy with the tax advisor
- Ensure timely, accurate and compliant payroll for partners, providers and employees
- Mentor and develop accounting and payroll staff
What you bring
- 15+ years of related accounting experience
- 5+ years of financial accounting management experience
- 5+ years of healthcare experience
- Bachelor's degree in business, accounting, economics or related area; MBA preferred
- CPA or CMA required
