About David

David C. Beaty, MBA serves as President Emeritus of the NAHSE Dallas-Fort Worth Chapter, bringing more than twenty years of experience in Managed Care, Provider Contracting, Pay-for-Performance and Value Based Care for Medicare, Medicaid and Accountable Care Plans.

David brings more than 27 years of managed care experience through his career with UnitedHealth Group and Optum, with a background in provider network development, population health, and health plan performance.

David’s leadership experience includes serving as Regional Vice President of Network Solutions for Risk Adjustment and HEDIS/Stars Performance at Optum. In this role, he supported population health solutions for Medicare, Medicaid, and Affordable Care Act health plan clients across the West-Central Region. His previous responsibilities included network development, provider relations, and contracting with physicians, hospitals, and ancillary service providers.

David serves as President Emeritus of NAHSE DFW, following his tenure as chapter president in 2024 and 2025. Through his service to NAHSE DFW, David remains committed to advancing Black healthcare professionals and strengthening opportunities for leadership and career development. His priorities include mentorship, community service, member engagement, and strategic partnerships that support the chapter’s mission. He has also served on the executive committee as Membership Chair for the Dallas-Fort Worth Chapter of the National Black MBA Association.

David earned his bachelor’s degree in business administration from Northwood University and a Master of Business Administration from Texas Woman’s University.

Oversaw the development and execution of market level business plans, ensuring strategic initiatives were effectively managed to optimize network performance and improve healthcare outcomes.
