About Jennifer

Jennifer R. Clark, MS is an accomplished healthcare executive with more than 19 years of specialized experience spanning managed care, health plan operations, product implementations, business development, contract negotiation, compliance, and provider engagement. She's a strategic thought leader with a demonstrated ability to lead complex initiatives, strengthen healthcare partnerships, and drive operational excellence across cross-functional teams and leadership structures.
Passionate about advancing health equity, equitable care, and community health, with a commitment to addressing disparities, improving access and outcomes, and creating more inclusive healthcare experiences for individuals and communities. Skilled at translating organizational strategy into actionable initiatives that strengthen provider relationships, enhance care delivery, and support sustainable community impact.

Jennifer currently serves a the Senior Director of Health Equity at Children’s Health in Dallas, Texas, where she leads community health initiatives focused on advancing health equity, improving access to care, and addressing disparities among vulnerable patient populations. In her role, she develops and executes strategic initiatives that strengthen community partnerships, improve health outcomes, and expand the organization’s collective impact through collaboration with community-based organizations, healthcare providers, and other internal and external stakeholders.

Jennifer has built a career at the intersection of health equity, managed care, health plan operations, business development, and strategic transformation. She is recognized for translating strategy into action and building innovative partnerships that create measurable impact for communities. Her work has included the creation of a Health Equity Summit and Community Resource Fair, leading a partnership with the North Texas Food Bank that facilitated 119,000 meals for families in need, advancing FindHelp branding and cross-sector collaboration, and developing an FQHC specialty care program that has generated more than 666 referrals for 555 patients since 2022.

Throughout her career, Jennifer has been particularly passionate about improving access and outcomes for medically underserved populations. Her leadership reflects a commitment to identifying barriers to care, creating sustainable solutions, and bringing organizations together around shared goals. She has also held leadership roles within professional and community-based organizations, where she has championed professional development, community engagement, and initiatives designed to strengthen the communities they serve.

Jennifer is a native of St. Louis, Missouri. She earned a Bachelor of Arts in Biological Sciences from the University of Missouri–Columbia and a Master of Healthcare Management from Lindenwood University. She continues to be driven by a commitment to advancing health equity, strengthening communities, and creating meaningful change across the healthcare system.

Jennifer is a member of ACHE of North Texas and serves on the North Texas Food Bank Advisory Council. A proud member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated, Jennifer is the Immediate Past President of the North Central Texas Alumnae Chapter (North Richland, Hill, TX) and current Lead of Physical &Mental Health for the Southwest Region of the sorority, covering four states and one country. Jennifer is one of the Section Organizers for NCNW – North Dallas/Denton County Section, where she previously served on board leadership. She is passionate about advancing health equity, developing leaders, and empowering communities through service.

As Marketing Chair of NAHSE DFW, Jennifer leads efforts to strengthen brand recognition and visibility across the chapter. She develops marketing materials, including event flyers, social media graphics, and communication layouts, while ensuring a consistent and engaging brand presence across chapter initiatives and events.
