Overview

About Olayide

Olayide Adejumobi, MSHA, RDN, LD, is a healthcare leader, registered dietitian, and public health project manager. Since 2012, she has worked across healthcare settings, combining data, strategy, and relationship-building to advance health outcomes and create meaningful opportunities for others.

Olayide (Olay) holds more than a decade of experience spanning clinical care, population health, social determinants of health, and community-based initiatives. Since beginning her healthcare career, she has developed a strong interest in connecting clinical insight, data, and community needs to improve health outcomes.

In her current role at Parkland Center for Clinical Innovation (PCCI), Olay manages projects focused on social determinants of health and population health, collaborating with health systems, community organizations, data teams, and other stakeholders. Her work includes translating complex health and social data into actionable strategies, strengthening cross-sector partnerships, and supporting initiatives that address barriers affecting underserved communities. She is also a health and nutrition writer and speaker who is passionate about making evidence and data practical, relatable, and useful.

Olay serves as Student Relations Chair for NAHSE Dallas-Fort Worth, where she supports student engagement, scholarships, mentorship, professional development, and connections between emerging healthcare professionals and industry leaders. She is especially passionate about creating access to opportunities and helping future healthcare leaders recognize the many pathways available to them.

Outside of work, Olayide enjoys spending time with her family, serving in her church and community, and writing about nutrition, health, and everyday wellness. She is passionate about creating meaningful experiences that support families, children, and the communities around her.

Chapter Responsibilities

As Student Relations Chair, Olay leads initiatives that connect students and emerging healthcare professionals with scholarships, mentorship, career development, and networking opportunities. She also builds relationships with universities and healthcare leaders to strengthen the student pipeline into healthcare leadership.
